Went to the dealership today...

Ok so I'm driving my wifes DSM, took a corner, and the ball joint broke, then snapping the axle. Thats another story, but I'm standing in the garage and I see this beautiful red FB, 82 or 83, couldnt tell from that distance. But I'm watching it the whole time im there, finally i see three mechanics standing around the open hood looking at it. I asked the guy behind the counter, "you want to put me on the payroll and I'll go take care of that FB for you?"

"The what?"

"That red rx-7, the body code is either FB or SA22."

"Oh, well..."

Then he snickered, and told me about the damage to my wifes car.

nice, most those dealership guys don't know much, especially about rx7s.... They wanted to charge me 200 to change my intake gasket, it took me 30 minutes and 5 dollars for the gasket...

Oh yeah I forgot to add about the salesman in the show room. He said, "so you like the rx-8?" before he got anymore out I said, "I know more about this car and the engine than you do, so just be quiet and let me look at the engine without the cover on it." Still says 13B too. craziness.

good work on being a ***** to a guy who is just doing his job...

granted, you probably DO know more then him, there so happens to be a more mature way to handle situations of that nature.

a simple "im verry experienced in the engines, no need to bother helping me" would have done nicely.

sometimes i hate working retail due to people like you sir.

hey fucknut, if im soaking wet coming from the parts department do you really think i want to buy a car? How about you get out of retail or is that too ******* difficult for you? Why dont you sit the **** down and shut the **** up. And I'm going light on you because you are new, maybe you should visit the lounge and really watch me rip someone apart. I dont give a **** who you think you may be, but if retail is such a giant burden on you, WHY THE **** ARE YOU POSTING IT HERE BECAUSE I DONT GIVE A ****, GET THE **** OUT OF MY THREAD.

and i just came back to write more. the damn VA hasnt given me more drugs yet so im very ill tempered, you come in my thread, to start **** with me? Why dont you goto the lounge and bitch about how much you hate people while working in retail? Instead of hijacking mine? Come on big man, why dont you? there was no criticism, i smitten the idiot who wants to talk to the guy who had been standing out in the rain because his car broke down with a snapped axle. not like you'll ever build anything that puts out that much power to break things. so why not just run along, or maybe you like the attention and the drama.

better yet i have a new conspiracy theory, you're my ex-wife who heard about my med discharge and her only goal is to **** me off and be my internet stalker because i dropped her *** because she didnt work, she didnt clean the house, and i had to raise her daughter, is that what it is? **** be honest if it is, i perfer integrity over bitching about working in retail.

why dont i go to the launge and bitch?, unlike you, ive got no reason to bitch...

i guess the joys of being layed back and not so ill tempered help that though..

granted, the salesman's timing may not of been the greatest in the world, but you sir, need to learn to relax and realize that people do have a job to do..

my god, on no, he happend to waste 5 whole minutes of your precious time, if that, just to ask if you LIKED the rx8.

as for the "not building a fast car problem" im the the onebreaking a dsm lol.

no hard feelings,i just think you need ot chill out and not be such a ***** to people who are required to ask questions,
