Well I drove the Cosmo POS today.

Guys I dont think I like this car anymore. It kinda scared me LOL

I forgot I had the boost turned up a little and I hit about 8 psi, I left black marks about 20 feet long, and got sideways in second... Well I think it was 8, I was busy trying to hold onto my ***...

Are you trying to say that its got some serious *****? Anyway, What do you estimate your 0-60mph is at 8psi?

Personally, I'm kinda disappointed with my bridgeports speed, I can't get below 6.5seconds to 60 yet. I thought it should get better since I opened the exhuast a little more since last time apart.

I'm trying some new jet combo's but 245main fuels with 200air correctors seem to be best. I am not sure what the best is yet since I only have several sizes and more cost ~6bucks per jet+shipping! ARGG!! Hey, it DOES add up RRREALLY quick!

I guess this isn't a issue with Halteching, but hey, I am not THAT rich.

Congrats! But I have one question..... it looks like you've done an awesome job... why do you insist on calling it a POS? What does POS stand for? Possiply Over Sized?

OMG!! YOu don't have one? Isn't your car a GSL? Says on your sig. I have a GSL '85 with disc's and LSD.

OR is it really loose and only gives one-wheel wonders? Mine clunks, but did the day I bought it. Hasn't gotton any worse, but still lays 2-long-rubber patches when called on. ONe time I did a burn out/donut and the rearend clutch broke loose and one tire got really fast and the other one stopped spinning as fast. But it hasn't done that since. I think its just old, but ok yet.

I dont know if a LSD rear end will stand up to the abuse of that car/driver. heh
Why not go with a ford 9" rear end?

The expense The 8.8 4 lug ford is what I got my eye on. But I will have to go this route for a while..

I can get a LSD for about $100-150 and drop it in, mates up with my driveshaft and all

I can get sideways in my '79 with open diff.... just have to hammer on it... in first gear with my car

even with an open diff, both wheels spin going straight, just one spins a lot faster...

Awesome, I'm kinda doing the same thing that you did, which is taking my GS and turning it into a hybrid GS/GSL, possibly with an SE rear end and front and rear brakes. Keep up the good work!
