Unhappy Well the dream is over....

Selling off some of the 1st gen stuff, i am giving up on the car, i can't work out the little bugs and so i am selling the whole thing or just the motor/carb/manifold setup. I would prefer to sell the motor and mani setup and keep the frame but it might not work out.

Check them out here and spread the word.
The motor and carb set up are worth more then I am asking.......$700 for a rebuilt 12A and rb manifold and NEW holley carb. I give up... some timing related demon has me stumped....runs for 30 seconds like a champ then floods itself out......I am missing something small but i don't have the time or the patience.....Compression is awesome and EVERYTHING IS NEW!

Is it a newer Holley carb? The new Holley phenolic floats are junk, better off using brass ones. Sounds like your float levels are getting screwed up, nothing a bit of tweaking can't fix. From what you've described it doesn't sound like a timing issue.
