Welcome to the fold

I picked up an 85 RX-7 Gs today. I have only one thing to say about it...

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

My god this car is so much better than the Buick Park Ave I've been slogging around in day-to-day. Its very different from my other baby, a 1965 Lincoln Continental.

I have driven everywhere I need to get to on a regular basis already to get used to the car. My form with a manual transmission really needs some work, I just have to drive like grandma for a while to set the muscle memory.

Why didn't you bastards tell me about these wonderful cars sooner?

Pics coming tomorrow.

I go to school at Kent State. I'm in Columbus with the guys from ColumbusRacing once a month or so and my family is scattered all over the state.

I got the car from Troxell Auto Sales near Seville. Nice place to deal with.

Is there a good step-by-step for a tune up? How good is the Haynes manual for the RX-7's??

I was probably going to be in C-bus that weekend anyway. If I'm in town I'll cruise by.
