Weird Noise When I Brake

when ever i go over around 25 mph... and i hit my brakes to slow down...i hit this noise... almost like a clamping sound..or if a rock wer to bounce up and hit metal under the car all the time....what do yall think it is... i think itmight be my caliper

I found the upper bolt broken on my front caliper assembly. However , it did not make any noise.
Inspect closely.

maybe you need new pads..could be metal on metal...then again if you change the pads and i turns out that thats what it was, check for striations on the rotor...might need to replace those also

dude I got that sound too, i have no clue what it is tho. I have brand new pads and rotors all around so it prolly isn't you needing new brakes.

i too have that sound. i just tighten the hub nut a little and it goes away. i dont have a castle nut for the cotter pin to work right. i'd check yours just in case.

Could be a sticking caliper, could be a lot of other things. Sounds like it's time to get under the car for a thorough inspection. Check the calipers, all bushings for wear/deterioration, loose bolts/nuts and rusted components. With the vagueness of your description, it could be anywhere.
