Question Weird Noise(s)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting this clicking noise from either my tranny or my brakes/calipers/pads when i am in reverse and tapping the brakes. has anyone ever heard of this. i searched but i only saw other people's problems with strange noises, not the one i'm having. i am also getting some squeaking when i am just rolling at a slow speed, and then squeaky brakes when i hit the brakes, so i'm sure that's what that noise is. also my last noise is a fast clicking noise when i turn corners or offramps or onramps to the freeway or just wide turns in general. if anyone can help that would be great.

Hows you wheel bearings? Have you jacked the car and spun the wheels by hand?

I get the exact same clicking noise when I roll backwards and tap the breaks. No matter how hard or soft I tap them, I get the same noise. Never happens rolling forward. I know this doesn't help...just wanted to jump on board in case someone has an answer.

I get that rolling backwards and forwards, I'm 99% sure it's from the back of the car. I'm probably going to do the wheel bearings on all four corners soon so hopefully that will get rid of the problem.

Sounds like jobber brake pads moving in the frame. Check the fit of the pads.

yah i have the same problem....i think when i re-did the pads a while back the small metal shims that go between the brake pads and the caliper had rusted out and my 24 dollar brake pads didnt come with the shims, but i needed the car so i popped em on thinking the tiny gap wouldnt matter. it never made the noise until i did this, and im positive i installed everything else correctly so i dont know what else it could be...i didnt get new rotors or resurface the old ones, could this contribute to the problem? they arent badly scored up or anything but resurfacing them might have done some good any opinions?

maybe you don't have shims... or maybe the spring for the brake pads fell out
