weird noise between motor and tranny

Just like the title says. This only happens when I don't step on the clutch. When I do step on the clutch the noise goes away.I have a brand new ACT xtreme pressure plate, 6 puck disc on a light weight alum. flywheel.New throw out bearing and pilot bearing. Another weird thing about it is, when I drive the car in 1st and 2nd the clutch feels normal. When im in 2nd at about 4500rpm and shift to 3rd there is no more pressure on the clutch until the pedal is 3/4 all the way down. Has anybody ever experience this before.

Sounds like throw out bearing or pilot bearing, new ones can be bad, if it is its not an urgent issue though

I'd be willing to put money on the sound being a bad throwout bearing. But for your other problem, your guess is as good as mine. Never heard of something like that before.
