weird idle and hissing sound??

lately, my car had weird idle problem. When start from cold, I have to keep the foot on the gas for a while or else the engine just dies out and then when it does idle without my foot, it jumps from 850 rpm to 900 rpmand then falls, and then back up etc. I open up my hood and see if theres any problem, whenever i rev i hear a strange hissing noise near/at the Vac Chamber, i recently just bought this car and finally got the oil cooler welded up and fix too

I have a 85 GSL-SE

spray some wd-40 or carb cleaner around until you find the leak. Fix as neccessary.

In case it wasn't obvious, The spray will cause the idle to go up when you find the leak.
