Brake problem

I changed my front brake calipers and the master cylinder, and so long as the car is off the brakes work great; however, I start the car and start driving down the road and suddenly it is done. No more brakes and stopping is forced by use of e-brake. Any ideas as to whether it may be a vaccuum leak or something else? When I step on the pedal it goes straight to the floor as if the break lines aren't hooked up. I bled the brakes and all the brakes have brake fluid going to them. Also the engine starts to die when I use the brakes and the car is on.

the master is bypassing itself. did you prime it before you installed it? my master has a bleeder on it as well.. maybe you should try to bleed it.. maybe you have a leak from your power booster.. where did you get your master.. please dont say autozone.

I got the brake master cylinder from Victoria British. Its all bled. Everything has been replaced aside from the Brake Booster and thus leaving me only to believe that it is a leak from the booster. Now all I have to do is find out specifically what is wrong with the booster, or buy a new one all together.

Everything with this car is just pissing me off more and more. I have been trying to get a JDM 12a Turbo from Corksport for the past month, and everytime I call them they tell me they will call me back, yet never do. Now my brakes are out for the second time. Almost makes me wish I would just move to a newer year, even if it means going to the second gen category. Then I think about a second gen and it just makes me glad I have a first. heh.
