Weird electrical problem, dash lights and so on and so forth. Help gurus
Ive got a wierd short or something in my car. It all started with the stupid load buzzer that so many have complained about then leaded to all the dash warning lights coming on at one time and staying on. The voltmeter drops to 12 and the dash light dim when i use the turn signals. The voltmeter drops to 12 yet the car still fully charges, this is why i think its just a small short. Yet i still havent found out where yet. Have any of you experianced anything like this before?
Btw, does the steering wheel/steering console, and wiring swap from sa to fb? Just plug and play?

Ok so what was happening was that a wire that leads under the hood was grounding out on the exhaust manifold from the main engine harness. The harness fell out of the holders, luckily it only burnt a tiny little hole so i repaired the wire and im good to go. Trochoid, the battery was charging at 14 on my voltmeter, although on the dash it only said 12. The wire that was grounding was messing with the entire dash console, thats why it said so low. Thanks tho.

Check the wiring at the back of the alternator for any damage. Also check to make sure that the small lead that goes from the positive battery cable to the fusable link box near the strut tower is good. Then recheck all of your ground connections.
Forgot to add. You need to find out exactly what that wire that burnt is and what other possible circuits may be run off of it.

Yeah dont worry i figured everything out. I used the fsm and checked all the wiring. Nothing was effected. The car charges well at 14 again and everything is up and going. NO word on the steering wheel?
