Weird clock issue

today i hop in the good ol' rx7 to head out for the day, and look down at the clock - no time! since it was still dark i turned on the lights - if i turn on the running lights, it works. if i turn the headlights on, it gets really faint. if i start the car - it wont work at all. has anyone ever seen this before? i figured I'd ask before i started tearing things apart. I'm baffled.

Have you done any recent work to the car? I.e radio install, etc.

You also just might have a bad clock. I'd pull the clock and check the connector with a volt meter. If the plug is good, the clock is bad. If the plug is not getting the right signal, you have a bigger problem on your hand.

if your radio doesn't work as well, i had a similar problem. it was just the hazards fuse that blew

I don't have a stereo at the moment( It's in the mail on it's way! ), but I'll double check all the fuses to make sure i didn't look over any.
