Weights For Shipping
I'm planning on getting a few parts to fix my rex up, but I was wondering if anyone knew (or could find out) weights and sizes of these parts to make it easier. (heck, we could almost make a sticky for the main ones
)
Gas Tank
Radiator
Nikki Carb

wow... I didn't even see that... perhaps I should read the whole post next time...
well, I can't give you any exact numbers on those, as I've never had to ship them anywhere, but I can guess...
I would say an empty gas tank, with sending unit and filler hose attached would be around 25 pounds...
a radiator (I had to carry one for 14 blocks to and from the autowrecker's last summer when I blew my rad) would weight in around 15-20lbs
and a Nikki carb would be around 7-10 pounds...
those are just my guesstimates though, from what I figure they weigh from holding on to them and moving them around while working on my car.
