Weight Savings
I didn't know if you guys already covered this, but I wanted to post my findings.
The weight of the interior I've removed is 70lbs. This does not include sound deadning material, dash, passenger seat, or head liner. If anyone has the weights of these please add them, if this is a repost please direct me to the link.

I didn't count the spare tire or jack. I don't have a spare tire at all, thats my stupid fault, I was at a "friends" shop that has no less than 30 7's back there and didn't think to ask him if I could snag one. It's ~300 mile away so I can't just run over there tomorrow.
As for what I took out, everything except the dash, head liner, seats(stock), and sound deadening material(tar).

ha ha. I haven't kept a spare in my car since probably '98. LOL
I ONLY had flats before I did this ironically enough. I dicided that a mazda jack is dangrous to have, because i was changing a flat once and it gave out...literally. I moved my hand from getting smashed from the brake disc. Its fair to point out that there was a 50MPH wind gust on a very windy day. Anyway, I took that jack, after I got the car off the ground with a REAL floor jack and throw it as hard as I could into the field next to the road. From that day on, I got a new set of tires and a tiny Air compresser, and a plug kit for potential flats. Luckily never had to plug any ...yet. So My next set will be the same brand: cooper cobra's. They are VERY nice durable tires I decided.

When I removed my interior, I think it was either 62 or 72 pounds weight savings. That's the tar, carpet, padding, spare, jack, storage bins, headliner, and trim stuff. Seats, dash, console, and door panels are still there.

The stock seats are HEAVY!!
I couldn't believe how much lighter my Corbeau was when I installed it, it was just ridiculous. The Corbeau (which I believe weighs ~12 pounds) was easy to pick up with one hand. The stock seat had to weigh 3 times as much lol.
I second just carrying a can of fix-o-flat in the car. The spare tire and jack are way too heavy for real fanatics like us
It's amazing how much higher the back of my car sits without all that crap, not to mention the sub box I used to have haha.
Also, there is a lot of weight to be lost under the hood - from the stock 12A setup to what I'm running now, the engine bay is essentially *empty* in comparison. I'm sure all that stuff must have weighed quite a lot. The Dellorto is *so* much lighter than the Nikki and all its associated garbage was. The front of my car also sits higher than it used to.
