Weber tuning gurus needed

So, i've had my 83 GSL for 15 years now, and I'm hoping to get one more summer out of this engine, before I have Atkins build me a 12A worthy of Mordor.

I'll give a brief laundry list, but practically EVERYTHING aside from the motor has been replaced or upgraded.

Under the hood:

Eliminated air pump and all of rats nest
Removed A/C, cruise control
Removed fan clutch, installed electric fan
aluminum radiator, Racing Beat silicone hoses
Atkins 6 rib pulleys and belt
MDS Blaster 2 coils, Magnacore 10mm Wires, Denso plugs
Racing Beat headers and full race exhaust
Weber 45 DCOE sidedraft carb
Redline fuel pump, FPR, Carb linkage

Drivetrain:

Rebuilt trans with HD bearings (PITA, custom tools and homemade thrust washers)
Redline gear oil in trans and diff
Centerforce stage 2 clutch
Racing Beat braided stainless clutch line
Mazdatrix short shifter
New factory driveshaft
Racing Beat alum flywheel (waiting for engine rebuild)

Suspension:

Poly bushings (all around)
Racing beat springs, sways
Koni shocks
CP racing drilled and slotted rotors (all 4)
Hawk HP plus pads
Racing Beat stainless braided brake lines
Mazdatrix watts brace
Strut Tower Brace (from australia)

So.... end goal here is to have an Atkins high end streetport build paired with a 7inch Camden Supercharger, and I want to keep my weber setup instead of EFI for coolness factor.

Weber guys: is the 45 gonna be a bottleneck? Do I need to go bigger? Does anybody have ANY idea how I'm gonna tune the sucker?

I've been toying with the idea of buying the supercharger first, installing it on my current engine, and getting a base tune off of that, so if detonation occurs, its not blowing up a brand new engine.

However, taking the future porting into consideration (current engine is stock), will that be a wasted effort? Not sure how much a big streetport will change the tune by itself?

It was hard enough getting the halfway decent tune I have now, still have much to learn about this little Spainish bugger

There's gotta be a few weber guys left?

the 45 DCOE should be a good fit for a stock port engine, but its a little small for something with a port, and its definitely too small for something with a supercharger.

the supercharger is also not a great fit for the rotary, the rotary wants a lot of airflow at high rpm, and the s/c just can't deliver it. i've seen dyno sheets of an S4 NA with s/c and supercharger, and they make the same hp. the s/c does have more torque in the lower rpm range, but not sure its really worth all the cost/effort.

if you wanna keep the 45DCOE, i'd suggest a nice stock, or mild port engine. we've seen good results around here with just the 1974 spec ports, which happen to be the stock port for the later turbo engines secondary ports.
