Weber Tuning 6pt 13B recommendations

I've got a '90 13B stock port in my '84 running a 48 IDA. I've searched and come up with recommendations. Racing beat has them and there are some others running 13Bs also.

I'm in the Southeast (GA) and wanted to know if anyone also down here is running anything different than Racing Beat's recommendations and why.

I ran my first track event with the stock Weber (due to time) and I'm sure it'll get more power properly tuned. It ran well, but it would bog on off idle throttle and I'm assuming will have better flow with other settings.

Thanks for the help.

Sounds wonderful. I priced the parts out with Mazdatrix. Where did you get yours?

What exhaust do you run?

Anyone else have any other recommendations?

i search until i find the cheapest parts. Mazdatrix is the most expensive. i never get weber stuff from them. just google weber jets. and there's always ebay. My setup might not work perfect for you like it has for me. every engine wants something different. not to mention weather, humidity, elevation, and your driving habbits and style all come into play when tuining a carb.

Did you tune it specifically yourself? Did you use an O2 sensor to tune or did you tune on the dyno?

Anyone else in the SE or the South run one of these? Don't know if the settings would be very different, but I'd like to hear from you. I"m about to order these this week.

Thanks in advance.

i think the idle circuit parts will be right almost no matter what. the main circuit parts will vary a bit with power level, and humidity and such.

in theory jet size should have some correlation with HP, but there are other factors. however since hyper is making a lot of power, and lived someplace cool and low altitude, i'd think you'd end up being on the rich side, which is safe

cool. i'd rather be reliable and safe also and make the engine last. i don't mind giving up some power to keep running the engine for a long time.
