my dell does alright when the temp is single digits, glad i dont need to drive it as my only car in those temps though..

The ida style, (downdraft) will give the most top end, they tend to be on/off throttle. For best driveability, the dcoe or wrap around style will give better manners throughout the rpm range. They also have the most low end torque due to the longer intake runners.

For low end, you can use smaller venturies. Just in case of the unexpected, I use 44 venturies so I can still get a good mid to top end.
