weber intake ?

do the straight /horizontal webber intakes work well on the rotary?

If you're refering to the Lake Cities style that point directly to the passenger side, yes. Good choice for topend, not low end torque.

The longer the intake, the lower the power band (generally speaking). I believe it's the weber DCOE that uses a wrap-around intake that has the ventries facing the driver's side over top of the engine. Personally, I'm running a 48 IDA that face straight up. The power band is higher, but that's the main reason that I like rotary engines, they like to rev high.

im running rb intake on my dhla 48 if you had a dcoe 48 (side mount) then i recomend the rb intake.

How does the downdraft twin Weber 36DCD, such as the Rotary Engineering set up, fit as to characteristics? I know Trochoid has mentioned he has a set. I'm wondering if it is worth trying to source the missing start plunger and spring for the one carb or to forget it and go to my Racing Beat Holley. This would be used on a street machine.
