I see, I just found out that the idle jets came lose in there and were not attached to the air corrector, these 65F10 dont attach tight like the 70F10, why would that be ???
So you recommend me to stay with the 70idle jets, get 40mm chokes and forget bout the 65idle jets?
Thanks.

I've got some 40s, but they're for a 45 DCOE. I'll trade someone for 38s.

Any update Hyper4mance2k? Still hapy with the F-3s?
Sorry I was in Miami! lol
Well i got some more stuff in and did some test drives today. Put in 60 idle jets and it's undriveable. 65's are perfect with 120 idle jet holders. I decided to try out f-3's since they are identical to f-11's except with a smaller middle section to allow the main circut to come on earlier which would eliminate teh lean stumble f-11 owners seem to always complain about.
Put in the f-3's and it's so much better now. No stumble on initial testdrives at all. It went like this all in all.
F-11's too lean in the midrange and caused the main circut to come on too late causing a lean stumble at cruise.
f-16's were the exact same problem, but it was even worse. I went from 205m/165 a/c to 220m and 120 a/c just to get it home, and it was still too lean.
f-7's were great up top but I had to run 205main and 180 a/c to get 13:1 afr's at WOT and it was 10:5 at cruise causeing rich stumble on cruise
f-8's allowed me to run 205 main with 120 a/c and got 12.5:1 afr's at WOT 11.5:1 afr's at cruise with the occaisional rich bog at cruise spiking the wide band at 10:1
f-3's 205 main with 140 a/c gets me 12.5: at cruise and 12.5:1 at WOT no noticeable stumble at cruise anywhere yet.
Current setup is as follows
48IDA
3rd .8mm progression hole added
43mm chokes
65f10 idle
120 idle holder
205 main
140 a/c
f-3 e-tube. Car drives better than it ever has before.

Yes yes, I know it's old. But I wanted to bump this for some updates.
Also, maybe we can get some turbo tuning tips
My current set up:
12a small street port. S5 T2 Turbo (12psi)
(Not currently running. Minor things needed still)
51 IDA
37mm chokes
3.2 needle valve
60f10 idle jet
120 idle holder
195 main
150 air corrector
f-2 e-tube
Does this look like a good starting point? My 1st thought is my e-tube might be to rich? F3 or even F11" turbo" e-tube might work. The turbo e-tubes can be purchased from Jaycee and I was told they are standard tubes turned down. Letting you have your lean cruise and idle, and more fuel up top.

Those charts are gold once you understand how the tubes work, after reading a few carb tuning theory books I redrilled a few sets of tubes and found almost perfect afr all the way to 9k rpm, 12.2 to 13.5, but it was trial and error, it took several attempts but once I got it the cars got better mpg and power than ever before

Glad to see people still referencing my old stuff. By far the best thing you can change in an IDA is the idle air bleed. I could never find a 100, so I soldered my 120's closed and redrilled them to 100. Completely killed the transition bog, and no need for the added fuel bleeds in the idle circuit.

Someone out there is (i hope) happy with that carb. I have no idea who I sold it to.
