Weber DCOE 45... what jets?
Weber DCOE 45... what jets?
Hey, I recently got a Weber 45 DCOE and upper intake for my 86 13b n/a (stock). I was hoping that someone else with the same set up could tell me what size jets and what not they are using.... I'm a bit new to the Wankle, so any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Thanks!
what exhaust and ignition mods do you have? what is the altitude where you live?
here is a ballpark estimate where you should start with your jetting....
180 fuel jets
170 air jets
f11 emulsion tubes
36mm venturies
o bypass on the accelerator pump jet
65f9 idle jets

Well, I'm still in the middle of putting all of this into my Ghia now.... but I have a distirbutor and stock coils from a 85 on the way to be put in.... and I haven't figured out yet (see other thread as to questions about exhaust) how I'm doing the exhaust as I want to have the 5th and 6th ports working.... I live in Florida so I suppose I'm just above sea level. I wish I had more info for you to go on, but I'm band new to the Wankle and all of these applications... just trying to minimize the bugs now before everything is installed. Thanks for the starting point though!
