i need to see your setups used to hook up the throttle cable, mine is rigged but not the way i want it.

Here's mine on my rx2- weber 47. I used a carb return spring bracket from a Chevy-Ford 4 barrel carb at Autozone. I just cut the end off and mounted it on my carb horn bolt. It works great. Alot of guys are using alternator brackets and are bending them to work, however I dont' like the way that looks. This way is much cleaner. Good luck.

I have not seen that type of linkage on a side draft before. All the one's I've had were similiar to the stock Nikki one. Try Pierce Manifolds for parts.

bringing the dead back.
I've been looking at a few of these threads about mounting the throttle cable, but I haven't seen any pictures addressing the "slack" in the line. I know there is no slack when you get that throttle bracket set up, but I mean the line itsself, it's quite long. Do you guys use a different throttle cable or just deal with the length?

firewall forward that is. If you need the throttle cable itself shorter, you can do
something like what I did (I needed it longer, but works both ways) and go to a
bicycle shop. Get a hand brake cable and the right "head" on it and it works
perfectly. Got a 6' cable and sheath from them for under $4, and just cut it to fit.
