weber card instal

A friend of mine has two spare weber carbs and we were thinking about putting it on my car. I was just wondering ..

1. Is it possible to put a weber downdraft carb on my 84 GS
2. Where can I find the necessary backet to do this...

This carb came of his datsun so Im pretty sure I will need some kind of backet or soemthing to make it fit my car.

What size is the carb? Is the Carb a IDA? You should be able to use it as long as you have the intake manifold for the 12a (which is the engine your car has...) that mates to the IDA.

Sounds like the dual Weber 36 DCDs

Rotary Engineering made a similiar setup using two of those carbs, but it may be hard to find the manifold seperately.
