Weber 48 Ida help

I bought my rx7 with a weber carb already on it. Its a 12a and i dont think it was ported at all. I also have Rb headers and a msd ignition. Right now its running ritch and im getting about 10 mpg which is destroying my wallet. If someone could give me some info on what to do to tune it or even a link i would appreciate it.

You need to search. I'd help you more, but I'm erritated since there is a thread right on the front page of this forum about tuning a 48 IDA for a stockported 12A...

Study this technical article I wrote back in 2000. If you follow it, it should help you:

I get about 16 mpg around town with my IDA carb; on the road I get about 23 mpg.

Exactly what do you for the ignition, since you cannot use the original vacuum advance/retard system anymore with the Weber?
