weber 48 dco
I posted something about carbs a while back. Im running a weber setup on my 91 fc. Just curious onwhat other setups people are running with webers. Jetting, venturi, distributor, ignition all that awesome stuff. Mines a little touchy cant seem to get it to run quite right.

Im running with tbe fb distributor. I've got the racing beat six port intake with the racing beat headers. Im running a 60f9 idle. F7 emulsion tubes 210 air corrector jets. I've also got a rather large street port. I love the carb just haven't gotten it dialed in perfectly yet.

chokes?
also, what is the car doing or not doing? just saying it's "a little touchy" is too vague.

Ahh sorry I haven't replied, cook life equals no life. I'll look at the mains tomorrow and let you know. Can't recall off the top of my head. The biggest problem with it is it stutters especially in first, also if you're cruising at one speed and ease off the throttle to slow. Sorta makes me think the timing may be a little off. I've had a light on it. Its pretty advanced not sure of exact degree. The guy I bought it from has custom marks set up.

you'll need to verify where the timing is and adjust accordingly. do that before you start messing with the carbie. there is a chart of recommendations on the RB site.

Right now chokes are 42mm. The carb was supposed to have been made specifically for my porting by the guys out at the rotary shack. 60f9 idle gives me awesome cruise but leans out around 3k. 65f9 gives me great power all the way through the throttle however I cant cruise. Starts to stumble and jerk a lot at slight throttle.

the later webers have a 3rd progression hole, which lets you idle on the 1st progression hole, and still have 2 to transition to the main circuit.
or you can just get the main circuit to start working sooner with a smaller air...
