Weber 45 DCOE Linkage Question (12a)

I am in the process of installing a Weber 45 DCOE on my 85 12a stock port. I purchased the setup used, and am not happy with the throttle linkage setup it came with - a simple "lever - pull" setup, rather crude and it puts a lot of pressure on the throttle shaft.

I did some searches and research to see what people are using. I would suspect most people bought their setup as a complete kit and used the setup that came with it. I would be curious as to what you are all using particularly if you put your own together.

The setup sold by Carbs Unlimited (www.carbs.net) uses Weber kit #99006.110.

I was thinking of calling a few places tomorrow to see if I could purchase just the linkage part of their kit.

Thanks in advance!
