Weak Spark issues.

Ok now what would cause weak spark out of nowhere. I replaced the spark plugs. The wires look ok, plus it is all 4 spark plugs that have weak spark. The cap looks slightly worn on the inside. I heard that the points usually either work or don't work. Could it be the Dwell angle or is that something completley different or unrelated. Possibly the coils. If so How much and where can I find theses caps and rotors/ coils. Good website or local stores. We have napa, jerrys, shucks... I really need to get this started before winter, so far it just comes down to this spark issue and it not starting. It is a 79 rx7, with an 81-82 engine, running with the 79 electrical. SO i think it may be the 79 distributor, is there any way to tell. Sorry I have ADD and my mind jumps around, Any help would be great. I tried searching but weak and spark are very very common words with no similiar problems. Thanks. I can take pics or get serial numbers if I need to.

Well, first I was going to tell you to look for an engine grounding issue, but then you mentioned points. Yes, point adjustment will definitely affect spark strength. If I was in your shoes though, I'd start looking to upgrade the ignition system. 2nd gen direct fire is pretty easy and works great.
