water temp sensor test (ecu)

Hi I would like to know if anybody here knows how to test the water temperature sensor that is located on the water pump.

I'm pretty sure its in the fsm but I have no computer and am doing this from my phone.

Thanks.

It is actually a switch. When water temp is below 158 the switch is on (continuity between the wires). When water temp is 158 or above the switch is off (no continuity between the wires).
