Question Water Temp Sender

Can anyone tell me how to replace my water temp sender? My water temp gauge always reads just above "C". I've replace the thermostat but no change. I am getting plenty of heat and the choke goes in as normal. I'm hoping it's the sender and not the gauge. My 3 Mazda manuals don't specifically indicate where the sender is and how to change it.

well you have 2 temp senders. 1 in the waterpump thermo area... its a big sender. the other is in the rear plate, right by the oil pressure sender. the water temp is the SMALL unit. watch out the plug likes to break off when you are removing it so be careful.
