Thanks to this thread I actually went and bought one of these last night from Summit Racing. I listed the part numbers so you can view them on their website easily.

GRT-3196 Steering Wheel Installation Kit, Matte Black, Aluminum $16.95

GRT-415 Steering Wheel, Challenger, Steel/Silver, Foam/Black, 4-Spoke, 13.5 in. Diameter, Each $44.95 (Same one glazdham has)

GRT-5897 Horn Button, Steel, Black, GT Emblem, for Challenger/Classic/Performance Series, Each $6.95

Total came out to $78.60 for everything SHIPPED! Will be arriving Monday .
Not too bad at all.

you sure this kit works for the 7?

on grant's site they show that only kit # 3597 will work with a 1st gen

hah okay good! wasn't sure if there was another kit that fit as well.. just wanted to clarify

i was hoping this Evolution GT for my FB: Evolution GT 1080

but the all black one in this style only comes in the 13 3/4 wheel.. was hoping to get smaller than that (12 - 12 1/2.. knees hit the wheel as is)

maybe the red would look good since the car is red

So is there a way to keep the OEM center cap on this thing? I'm strongly considering swapping out my wheel right now since I can't move my hands past my legs thanks to the diameter, but I want to keep the Mazda cap if I can.

The last time I looked at a Grant catalog, they had replacement logos for the center cap. I know there was a Mazda one but I don't remember which one. I'll try to look the next time I work(p/t at Advance).

thanks for the website...the prices really are hooked up..they're cheaper than the grant website itself....give us feedback when you get the wheel (look and feel, installation process, and possibly pics?)

Yes, it is the same. A Grant GT wheel was the first aftermarket part I bought at Kragen for my 1969 Malibu way back in 1987!

I have this one and I love it. It is discontinued but you can still find them around. Just do a google search for grant 1082. I think they made it in all black too.

15" I think.

Turns out the aftermarket steering wheel I put on my S is a Grant. It was missing the horn button so I wasn't sure. Thanks to this thread I can easily order one.

I got 2 different steering wheels, Im not sure which Im going to use.

Im going the nitrous route, so I needed 2 buttons on the steering wheel: one for the horn, one for the nitrous

The blue comes off I already started to remove it

i'm liking the momo wheel better. i think it would work better in a 1st gen. but that's just my 1.5 cents.
