Washer fluid bottle

I was working on a older car today that had a washer fluid bag. I kinda liked it and was thinking about putting 1 on my 7. Was wondering if any 1 knows what i am talking about? The car i was working on was a 68 or 69 mustang. Also think it would be neat to use something like that for over flow. Tell me what you all think. I just want a few things different under my hood.

if the 1st gen has a rear wiper it has one in the hatch area by the tail lights.
then you mount a couple sprayers under the rear tire wells and put that water to good use if ya know what i mean, lol.

by overflow, do you mean for the coolant? I think the plastic tank would be better than a bag for that.

Problem I see with the bag is that it would collapse when the coolant gets sucked out of it.

LOL, the foot pumped window squirters, my 57 chevy had those. If the youngins knew what they were really for. A friend of mine ran the hose in under the dash, kept the squirter filled with whiskey. Popo never could catch him for minor in possesion.

The vacuum powered wipers were even more fun, they stopped everytime you hit the gas.

Yes, the bag in the back is for the rear window squirter.

Vacuum powered wipers. Oil bath air cleaner. Foot pumped washer squirters. And, those weird square things that spun those huge black discs and made scratchy sounds like you'd find from a drive-thru PA. What were those things called again?

Well, I guess there's something to be said about you old guys..............I don't know what it is, but I'm sure there's something to be said.

i had a 63 Falcon 4 door with a 170cid and a three speed on the column. the ol' three on the tree. i'm actually saving to buy the car back, as it was my first car and a gift from my grandfather. that was a hell of a car!!! i can recall the bag on cars for the squirter and i also remember the glass bottle that kinda resembled a mayonaise jar

i'm farily young(25) but i grew up around classic cars. my grandfather and father were both into vintage cars, my dad even has owned a body shop since i was a wee lad. i've seen my share of really neat stuff and some really neat cars. there's so many neat things about these old cars that would seem like a joke to use on a more modern car. however, at the time, they were considered new technology and a lot of the designs of older cars and their workings are absolutely timeless.

I wasn't much interested in cars at the time, but I think I recall my early 70s Beetle had the oil-bath air cleaner. I know my lawnmower does. The two would be pretty close in hp/lb figures.

yeah, the beetles were pretty neat little cars! i remember seeing the oil bath air cleaner and thinking there was someting wrong. my dad showed me some neat stuff on the car and i understand the car a little more. i put a stereo in a 76 convertibale a few months back at work. the owner stuck a wooden wind up crank on the car. it got a few laughs
