I looked around to see if there was a thread on using a reusable washable fuel filter... couldn't find anything.

Is there a specific model/brand or type I should be looking for? Anyone tried this before?

With the stock fuel filter costing 5$ and taking 5min to change, it's not worth the hassle of a washable one. Just pinch your line, remove the filter, install the new one and voila.

Sweet ride. Mine's an '84GS of the same colour. I don't have the headlight vent though.

I drive a 1980 RX7.
and I wouldn't waste my time, on a washable one.
fuel filters are cheap, and easy to install. VERY EASY.
