want vented hood

does anyone kno where i can get a good quality aluminum or fiberglass vented hood at.. THANKS

There's a guy from Australia thats making fiberglass/carbon fiber hoods, plain or with vents that are produced here in the states. Don't recall his name or the price. As for vents, there are some some companies that deal with big rigs that will punch louvers in sheet metal for venting. Another option is to pick up a cheap fiberglass vent from eBay and mount it with the opening towards the rear. You will need to mount that vent at the rear of the hood to take advantage of the low pressure just forward of the windshield.

I think trochoid may be referring to Fibremaz. He's got CF and FRP vented hoods. Look him up, but IIRC, I think he may have stopped producing the hoods and sold the molds... not too sure.

Thanks, it was Fibermaz I was referring too. Didn't know he was getting out of the business here in the States.
