That is correct. You can simply bolt the seat rails from your SA onto the seats from the FC, then bolt the seats into your car. Simple as that.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. The 3rd gen seats do give great support in my opinion. Really, my only bitch about them has to do with the install. I usually do all of my own work, but when installing those seats I knew I would need some welding done. I had a guy help me out at his shop, and they did not turn out very good. They sit crooked, twisted, lopsided, etc.

At the very least I need to pull them out and redo the installation, but I've never seen any photos of the job done right, and I'm back to that whole "needing a welder" scenario as well. I think they could be very comfortable seats if installed straight, and if I can get them lower than they are now.

Oh, and you are spot on with that cup holder comment. Very functional space you get there..

I have recaro speed seats, these used to be in a porsche, they are rewrapped in leather and have suede inserts. The bottom bolster is also adjustable forwards providing more leg support. Probally more than most would like to spend, but I am very happy with them!

The drivers seat was really easy to mount, I used a piece of 1/4 inch plate 2" wide and adjusted for the difference in the rail to seat mounting points. Passenger side is alot harder and I still have not figured out how i'm going to do it. The stock FB passenger seats have the rail mounting point on an angle, so you have to figure something else out. (any ideas from others who have done this before?)
