Angry Voltage Regulator help!

I've had my car sence august and my the voltage regulator died a few weeks after I got the car. Now the car is doing the same thing to much voltage. But I changed the alternator the first time this happend and the car was fine. I don't know why I would fry another regulator this fast. The belt needs changing I didn't do it when I changed the alternator. I'm changing the belt on friday because I have the day off. Would the belt cause this or is somthing else acting up? It's a 83' LE

check your grounds and all connections , Also there are a few diodes on the engine (one on the alt and one at the rear by the clutch slave) make sure all of these are connected.

also have your starter checked
