Voltage Regulator FB -> SA

The Voltage Regulator in my SA is acting up so I need to replace it.

Are the ones in the 81 - 85 Cars the same?

The voltage regulator for the alternator was only external in 1979, 1980 thru 1985 had internal volage regulators.

So to answer your question, NOPE.

Is that why the 79 Alt has 4 connections in the white connector and the later ones have two?

I’ve done the conversion in my RX-3 which is similar to SA. I only used one wire to trigger the field terminal.
