you can buy the 1st gen, it's a 12a-t car... just keep checking the used cars till it appears, it's cheap! keep at least 10K on you always (and really if you can't do this you suck at GT2, I get so rich playing that game lol)
yeah that game is awesome, maybe I'll buy a PS2.
I've only seen FC's and FD's in GT4, not that they're exactly awful cars lol...
and that savanna there, well, wow. it's awesome. what a pretty car.

Its been confirmed I think that there is NO 1st gen in GT4, which REALLY suck since I love that game. But I still find it hard to believe that they would leave out the 1st gen, but put a shitty Honda Life mini van in there. What kind of BS is that?

I can't say it enough: Enthusia SUCKS. Not even worth playing for the FB. Means you have to actually PLAY the game.
Only cool part of that game (other than the FB) is the clutch.
85 Rotarypower, I still don't know about the lack of a first gen. If you follow the used rims, there is a rim titled MA00xxxx that looks DEAD IDENTICAL to an SA honeycomb rim. I can't think of ANY other Mazda's using this rim. There's also an 80s Pontiac Firebird/Grand Prix/Fierro rim. . . . hmmm.
If it ISNT in the game, I'm sure it's some kind of red-tape legal crap. I can't see them leaving out the RX7 SA/FB AND the RX4 (which are classically in games!). These cars are also not in Forza Motorsports. Seems odd that NEITHER company would have either car in their game.

Well, I guess I'm off to play through the night to find out if there really is an FB in GT4. There has got to be one. The put some of the shittiest car ever made into the game, yet they don't have one of Mazda's most iconic sports cars ever. Its ****** rediculous and if the next game in the GT series doesn't have an FB, then I'm not even going to bother trying the game. They say GT4 was supposed to be the "History of Sports Cars", but I don't see much history at all, especially when they forget about some major names in sports car history.
GT4 is my favorite of the series because the physics engine is sooooo much better than any past GT game. I went back to playing GT3 for a little while, and I actually had to relearn how to drive in that game because it was so different. It felt more unrealistic than ever in GT3.

I fancied myself to be /quite/ the driver in GT2.. I tried playing GT4 in the same car (stock turboII) and crashed on the first corner. and second. and 3rd.... before I finally had the car slowed down enough to make the 4th corner. after I "learned" how to drive properly in GT4 (which took quite a bit of time!) then going back to playing GT2 simulation, even on sim tires it still feels like an arcade game.

Yes, GT 4 definately has a lifelike feel to it. Forza has it beat in the braking aspect though. It's like GT4 has a SEMI ABS, which is sort of on, but sort of not. And thresholding only helps a little bit.

As much as I liked GT2, I like 3 and 4 much better...Forza is alright in my opinion, but I'll stay true to what has more under it's belt. Also, 1985_rx7, speaking of minivans...there was a huge bitchof a van in GT2. I just don't remember which company. Also with GT2, I'd have to say the more interesting aspect was the drag race Intrepid I made. That car was crazy.

Man, that van was intensely fast in GT2! Had something like 1200 HP and 1500 Tq!
Reminds me of the Chevy Astrovan in Enthusia. . . . and people complain about GT4! !

The van you speak of was the Renault Espace F1. It had 800 hp stock and litterally looked like a minivan, but was as fast as a drag racer and handled like an F1. Truely awsome vehicle, but cost 1 million credits to get.
Also, I've played Sega GT before and didn't like it much. Felt too much like an arcade game to me. If Forza is anything like Sega GT, I wouldn't like it. IMO, GT4 is the BEST racing sim ever.

Hmmmm. I'll have to check that out LOL. GT4 does not have an FB. It has an 85 but it's an FC because everything came out a year earlier in Japan then in the states. Very dissapointing. I love Forza because you can visually do stuff to the cars like repaint and an emense combination of graphics. Plus I love the intelligent AI and the more realisticly handling cars
