Video of my 13b with NO exhaust, pulsing flames, very loud!
As the title describes, here's a video i took today of my crazy 13b with no exhaust.
Most of the good info is in the description of the youtube video so i'll copy and paste that here for you to read~
We fired up this 13b rotary this afternoon. It has no exhaust as you can see. it's crazy loud and as far as i know this is the only youtube video of a 13b where you can see flames being pulsed like this.
The 13b is a mixture of old 1970's rx4 housings and newer 80's rx7 center irons. We custom built this setup for use in the aviation industry but i can't tell you what it's going to be for until the project is finished.
The 13b has a racing beat holley carburetor, roughly 30,000 miles and that's about it.
thanks for watching!

Thanks everyone.
Today we got a remote start/shutdown and variable rev system hooked up so we can control the engine from upto 400ft away.
We also fixed the tachometer and got the other exhaust pipe on.

I like the carb'd 13b![/QUOTE]
Yea I like the carb engine too , I guess Maybe because of the simplicity of the fuel system , a little more learning and I will probably go to the EFI systems . but I assure you we are a huge minority . Gerald m.
