victoria british car

hey i just got the weirdest call, it was a lady from victoria british, and i answered the phone and she was like, "We have in our records that you own a '79 mazda rx-7, is this true?" I was like ya, so then she asked me if they could photograph my car for the cover of the next victoria british catalog. Hmmm.....tough decision.....of course u can use it! So hopefully we'll see it on there before long.

if they want a stock rx-7, theres one in okotoks which is right outside of calgary, i think its an 84-84. but its looks freaking sweet, from what i could see from the parking lot the interior was sweet too. there were some paint chips in the hood though. Way to go on the mag cover. don't forget to put that on your resume....

It'll be good to see a different car on the cover - they've been using the same GSL-SE tinted different colors for some time now.

Victoria British can blow me. I bought a clutch slave cylinder from the and put it on last year because it was about the same price as a rebuild kit for the factory one. It's already rusted all to hell. The factory one that was put on about 4 years ago was perfect (other than leaking) when I took it off. I'd stick with buying only cosmetic pieces from them.

I don't think much of Victoria British also. I bought two rear wheel bearing kits with bearing and seal because I am putting a LSD in my base '85 and the seal looks nothing like the stock on. I paid extra, extra to have it shipped second day air so my 7 wouldn't be off the road but one day. So much for that!!
I was also working on my nephews '87 TurboII and he bought a bunch of parts from them. One of the things he bought was a 160 degree thermostate and its just a regular car thermostate which means it doesn't have the little disk to shut off the recerulation hole in the engine. Beware, someones going to loose an engine if they order this part!

Cool. I just bought a few parts from them on Tuesday. I bought a wheel bearing (front outer) and a turn signal lens both were quality parts. I did notice that it is best you look up the parts in thier catalog and give them the catalog number. The counter guy was nice but not very helpful. I think they are getting more into Chevy trucks since the guy a the counter said it is out selling all of the other stuff combined.

their shipping is uber slow and they sent me a used GS badge. i called them and they sent me a new one. other than that. i have had no problems with VB. but yeah, stick with the cosmetic pieces unless you are in dire need.

Heheheh. I'd think that if there were any imperfections in your car they could just photoshop it out.
