Vibrations, Lock Lugs, Tires, and Solution.

Well, after going over that bridge with a pot hole a week ago, I finally found out what the matter was while driving to my girlfriends today. My damn back rear tire seperated on me going 70mph. It wasn't a blow out, just the tread came loose, the tire still had air in it. So I drove it on the shoulder for about 3 miles. It didn't do so bad really, just kept it slow.

So, now my car is 30 miles outside of "discount tire company" and I can't drive it there. So my dad is going to help me get it over there using a flatbed trailer. I am going to assume that I busted a belt or something on the tire since it blew out on me... either that or the "rotary coincident god" has struck me ONCE again!

As for the lug locks... good ol' discount tire will take them off for free since I am buying a new tire (or two).

Yippee!!! Btw, what kinda tires do you guys recommend?

I assume you have the stock 13's, if so your only real choices are the Yokahama AVS Intermediates in 185/60/13 or the Sumitomo HTR 200 somethings, get whatever one they have. If they have both, get the Yokos.
