please help me asap! i have an 88 se and i test drove an 85 today but it had a bad vibration at 30 mph. the car runs great all except for this problem. its an automatic and it only had this one problem. they only want $500 and i want to get it tomorrow if this isnt going to be a major repair . i would greatly appreciate any help

 

rod could be bent.... good reason for racing suspension. as long as its not the tranny then go for it !!

 

the vibration only occurs at 30mph and the its smooth sailing again........it feels like i am driving over a stretch of dirt road and back on pavement.

 

hopefully its in the suspension...... put it in a low gear and drive it up the 30 and see if it still does it

 

Causes of vibration:

Tires out of balance
Bent driveshaft
Transmission jacked
Broken engine mount

Let's look at it this way: There is obviously a reason why it is "only" $500.

 

thats what i thought about the $500 it runs great but needs minor body work paint job and interior work........my best friend works in a body shop and will hook me up on that. thanx for the input!
