Very new

Hello all, I am new here. I am also new to rotories. Is there a good book that I can read to help bring me up to speed on the basics? I have heard of the How to modify your mazda, but since it is out of print I am having so dificulty finding a copy.

The car is a 82 RX-7. Thanx, Troy

A Haynes manual would be a basic place to start. Reading Ch. 1 I beleive Its the engine rebuild chapter, could be wrong tho. Its a blue book (1st generation such as yours is blue cover and 2nd gen is a black cover, 3rd I dont know?) available at almost every Autozone or Advance auto Parts. If you have ever messed with Piston engines, this is gonna be an awakening LOL

Check out www.mazspeed.com, it is an outstanding first gen site. And yes, get a Haynes manual. Forget about Chiltons' they suck.

Thanx for the replies. I prefer the haynes manuals as well. I know quite a bit about piston engines, and NOTHING about the rotories. I will definatly check out the site. If you know of any others I would appreciate those as well.
