What series's are there for the FB?

What body and internal differences are there between the years of FBs? Ive been debating on what to get, an FB or an FC for when I get my license in 5 months. I know alot about FC's but not much about FB's and I wanna learn.

 

there are 3 series
79/80 are series 1 also known as SA's. These are the old school looking ones with the square bumpers.
81-83 is series 2 (FB) more modern looking still pretty basic
84/85 are series 3 (also FB) with a different interior, but mechanically the same as the earlier cars. One exception is the GSL-SE, thats the 13b (fuel injection) monster with bigger brakes and better suspension.
The models are:
S- base model, 12a, open diff, rear drums, basic stuff.
GS- one up from base model, came standard with power mirriors, power hatch release, and some other minor crap
GSL- this came with Limited slip rear, with rear disc brakes, and i think most came with a sunroof and power windows.
GSL-SE 13b FI, different trans, disks all around, limited slip (different ratio than GSL) and a more common bolt pattern.
There were also some limited editions thrown in here and there but thats the basics.
