do i have to have this for the fuel injection to work properly

yes. its for very fine adjustments to the idle. It slightly controls how lean/rich it is. There is a screw under some rubber that adjusts it located just rear of the air filter box.

unless your talking about a different one than me lol.

will the car run i can tune that stuff from other parts of the intake do i have to have it for the car to run
