I have finnished rebuilding my 12a , removed rats nest etc. Question do I still need the vacuum hoses from the distributor hooked up to the Carb, & if so exactly where.

You can do away with the vacuum advance if you wish as the main reason it's used is for emissions purposes.

If you'd like to keep it then run the vacuum hoses down to two of the nipples on the plastic carb spacer. It probably doesn't make any difference but I used the middle two.

 

Where can I find the damn plugs for that rats nest removal.

 

Superphily. Anywhere like autozone pep boys etc. Engine installed back in car, will wait till tomorrow to reconect everything & FIRE HER UP............. interested to see what my street porting & straight through exhaust will do to for my performance.

Maybe I can get someone to help me plug those hoses up and get rid of my rats nest when I goto the Texas RX-7 meeting in Austin at the end of next month
