vacuum hose replacement

Just got thinking about this and did a search, but didn't find much. How much difference would replacing my vacuum hoses (original I think) with silicone ones make?

None, if all of your 20 year old vacuum hoses are in good shape.... yeah right....

Honestly it can't hurt, but it more of a peace of mind mod (and it looks nice) than a performance mod.
