Vac leak! Help!

Red face Vac leak! Help!

ok i know there is a vacuum leak. Anyone have any references where i can go for my 85 GS so i can pin point where this leak is, and any tricks to finding it. I just can find where it is!!! help would be greatly apprecaited!

Try using a 6 foot long piece of plastic tubing. Point it to diff. places where the vac leak could be and put your ear to the other end of the hollow tubing. It should be really loud where the leak is.

Get a can of starter fluid. spray until you locate the area that causes a change in idle speed.

Then gut your rats nest to remove most of the probable locations of vacuum leaks

Hell, you're in Orlando which is about an hour from me. Care to drive it over to Melbourne?
