v-racing rush seat

has anyone done this? the rail mounts on the seat are ~13 inches apart and the first gen seat are ~15 inches apart (width). and the fb sliders are about 2 inches to short. the seat itself has metal rails under some of the padding. i was thinking of just welding the stock fb rails to those metal rails.. but something tells me i probably shouldnt. i cant find if they make adapters or not for our cars. i have a honda ex slider, i was thinking about modifying that.. but it would be alot of trouble. any other suggestions?

i wanted to go with the corbeau a4, but i traded a friend straight up for a turbo i had laying around and didnt need.

Before you buy any aftermarket seats, make sure they fit. The passenger side seat on an FB is significantly higher.

With my Recaros, the drivers side is fine, albeit tight. The passenger has to lean way back, or be of small stature to fit properly.

$$$. i dont really have ride alongs when i race... so theres no real point. i would be spending money that could EASILY go elsewhere... plus the seat was traded for a free turbo.. and i had no use for it. one seat for one turbo.. hell of a deal to me.. i just hope the guy i sold it to turbo's the extra b20 engine he has laying around
