URGENT! Need help installing head unit

I have my dash completely dis-assembled. I was fixing some problems with my steering wheel and lights/etc when I thought I'd knock 2 birds with one stone and put my new head unit in too.

I took the antique out, and I've located and hooked up my constant, accessory, and ground. Now I'm looking for my speakers. I've spent the last half hour knocking every wire i can find with a 9 volt battery listening for crack noises from the speakers trying to find them. Can someone please show me as to where my 4 speaker wires are?

Which harness? which...wherever they are?

I'm doing this with my boss' tools here at his work and he wants me out of here soon... So I needa get this crap found and hooked so I can book it home.

Any and all help is more then appreciated... of corse

1st Gen Head Units don't feed the speakers directly. They feed small amps in the rear bins (or under the driver's seat depending on model).

Sorry Dude, but you're going to have to run new wires to the speakers, or a the very least to the stock amp locations to tie them into the factory speaker wire harness.

GS what ? What year, on my 85, I got lucky and bypassed the factory amp behind the dash, there was a 4 pin white plug that went directly to the speakers. The rea I ran wire for. The amps are located on the storage bins themselves, not on the floor, stick your head in there and look towards the front of the bins. There wil be 2 or 1 in some cars, silver boxes. They say Clarion on them..

Just in case you haven't figured it out yet, you need to take the storage bins completely out to get at the amps.
