Urgent Information Needed: Starting Searching Now. Gauge/color Of Fusable Links

So last night I fried all three of my fusible links 5 minutes before attempting to start my new motor. I found a source for fusable link wires, but they come in rolls and I have to assemble my own fuses. What I need to know is what gauge, or what color the wires are. I remember that the wires are brown and black, but the brown and black wires that I found at the auto supply look much thicker than the links that are in my car. I'd look, but the store is halfway between where I work and where the car is, and I'd like to pick up the correct wires to make my own fuses.

Thanks alot.

Jim

Just pick up some 2nd gen style fuse links. They plug into the stock fuse link box, with a little persuation at times.
Use two 30's on the ends, and either a 50 or 60 in the middle.
