TN upper windshield molding- installation questions

Hi gang,

My old windshield upper moldings blew off in transit recently. I have new pieces to install now, but i don't know a good installation procedure to keep these in place. I know somebody here has some great ideas!

As far is i know all the clips are still in the frame.

Make sure the clips are in good condition. I has some blow off before and had to replace the clips. I'm pretty sure you can still get them from the factory, maybe black dragon too.

I bought mine from Black Dragon. Pretty cheap too...

Part # 97-770 (79-83) $9.95
Part # 97-772 (84-85) $8.95

1-888-789-DRGN

Cheap insurance to make sure it does not blow off again!!

If the side moldings are loose you could order the clips for them and do both at the same time. That might even help the top moldings be more stable. I had someone change my windshield once. Before the new windshield the moldings were very sturdy. After the new windshield everything was loose. Turns out the people changing the windshield broke a few of the clips and didn't bother to tell me. New clips helped out everything.
