Well, I said I was going to do it for a long time, and I finally did. I just used a 3 gang MAXI style fused distribution block, and two 40 amp MAXI fuses, and one 80 amp MAXI fuse. Its all Stinger HPM series stuff, and platinum plated. I dont know if the fuse sizes are right or not, but they work, lol. There was no real point to this upgrade other than I had money burning a hole in my paypal account and I kinda wanted to do it (easier to find fuses and stuff, plus it just looks cool). Plus later when I wire my stereo in and my amps and stuff, it will all match. The only thing I noticed is less volt gauge movement when the turn signals are on at an idle, but I suspect new fuseable links couldve worked just as well. So anyway, here are some pictures for you all to enjoy .

Thanks for the compliments guys . As I said, I had been planning on doing it for a really long time, and I finally had the money needed to do it just sitting around. I knew I wanted a "project" for my car, but with only ~$50 there wasnt much I could do to upgrade performance somewhere. So, I decided this was it. I got the block for a little over $30 I think, and the fuses were $3.50 each, and I ordered extras. The total was only like $52 or something. Not too bad, but then again, it seems like a lot for such a stupid thing at the same time, lol. Because, on one hand, it made me happy and I feel that it was money well spent seeing as there wasnt really anything else "performance" I could buy with $50, and because it was something I wanted to do for a long time. But then on the other hand, it just seems like a lot of money to spend on such a trivial "upgrade". Oh well, Im happy, and thats all that matters .

yeah same idea here, I just used an FC fusebox. I figured if one of those fuseable links ever went, it would be alot harder finding them in a hurry than if a fuse went out.

You might wanna make sure you get the right size fuses though. I havent had any major problems with my system in a long time, so I just hope that I dont get any, because if those fuses are too big and theres a problem, I may not know till its too late...

Looks Great! Now I am thinking about doing that. I noticd you had a third coil mounted in there. Any reason for that or is it just a spare in case of problems?

Yeah, it was for DLIDFIS, but I burnt out an ignitor so I went back to stock, and now its just kinda "there" until I get something together for another setup .

did DLIDFIS work out for you well, did you notice a big difference, i'm contemplating doing it or not, i'm just a bit unsure of the specifics right now,

And for the fuses they look good, i'm going to do the same thing, but i'm going to go test the original links at my school tommorrow with a controlled charge, and see how much they take before they blow, so i don't have to guess what amp fuses to put it, i'll post my results.

On another note, would turn signal lights with a lower resistance put less of a strain on the electrical system. Just wondering?
